What is the easiest and cheapest way to get autotune?
I am a musician and I just want to have some fun with autotune. I have seen vocal processor pedals that are very expensive. Is there a single stompbox pedal that just does autotune? Yes i get that auto tune is evil and requires no talent I just want to have fun with it. FUN. Please save yourself the time and dont answer unless you can answer my question and not just give me your opinion on autotune.

The computer sequencer "Reaper" can be downloaded free for noncommercial use, and has an autotune plugin included called 'ReaTune' Its fun to play with

Can you use a guitar equalizer pedal on vocals?
I'm shooting for a vocal effect/processor that will attain a nice rhasp without bringing too many mid's into the sound. I want to cut the mids off, and have something similar to a white zombie sound on vocals. I know that there are chords that will take mic cable to the 1/4 cable. Is this possible though? Would It sound horrible? Thnx.

The difference between guitars and mics is bigger than just the cables. A mic's low impedance signal will be susceptible to noise and distortion if connected to a guitar pedal which expects to see a high impedance signal. And mic level is MUUUUUCH lower than instrument level, so that means more noise and a weak signal. AND a mic cable is balanced, so it's possible that you'll get zero signal anyway with the unbalanced guitar pedal. A better idea might be to look for a cheap mic preamp with built-in EQ.

What do I need for this TC Helicon vocal processor?
http://www.guitarcenter.com/TC-Helicon-VoiceTone-Synth-HardTune---Vocoder-Pedal-583674-i1476643.gc I really want to get a good vocal recording setup on a lower budget. The tc helicon I liked to above is something I plan to add to it. Problem is folks, I dont know a whole lot about the setup of these, as most of my studio tools are software besides the keyboards and guitars and stuff. I have a good mic with a mic cable that plugs into the tc helicon, but how do I link the helicon to the computer to get it record into my software? help GREATLY appreciated folks

FROM THE AUDIO OUT TO THE MIC INPUT OF THE COMPUTER WORKS VERY EFFICIANTLY. JUST GET A RCA CONVERTER JACK THAT CONVERTS TO THE 1.25 GUITAR STYLE JACK.

What one is better in singing tone only?
1) TC Helicon VoiceLive Vocal Floor Processor or 2) TC Helicon VoiceTone Harmony G-XT Vocal Harmony and Effects Pedal ( I don't need it for guitar or keyboard=only singing)

Although you're not going to be using a guitar or a keyboard, VoiceLive 2 gives you the ability to connect an MP3 player to it so you'll be able to use it for harmonies, voice correct etc. What's incredible as well is if you post a question on TC Helicon's site concerning one of their great product specialist will answer your question.
